I was very bothered by your eviction notice regarding the $85 owed to GRU. When you and I last spoke about this you stated you would contact GRU because the account is in the name of Banta Properties and GRU will not speak to me about this issue for that reason. You stated you would have them research the account, for as $85 is far beyond a reasonable balance for a mere 15 days of 1 sole tenant. I had not heard from you, instead I only received an eviction notice from you.In the meantime I have done some researching on my end after discovering that the GRU bill under my own account was even worse. I had my apartment audited and discovered that my roof was completely without insulation. During my first month here I did use the heater occasionally, but never continuously, and I have not used the AC as of yet. The times I used the heater I noticed it did not seem to help much and now I know why, it was going straight through the roof the entire time causing the heater to only work harder. Even more surprising, all of the other tenants DO have insulated roofs.I am very unhappy with Banta Properties and I feel that many things said during my initial visit to the property were merely empty promises and cover ups. The maintenance here is of the worst I have had to deal with. They are extremely slow and do partial jobs once they finally get around to it. They are simply reactive and not proactive, waiting for me to notice something wrong before they even consider repairing or replacing it.-Moved in March 1st, balcony screens were incomplete: Finally completed in mid-May after numerous requests.-Moved in March 1st, had 2 screen doors out of 4 sliding doors: End of April technician showed up for them, said hed be right back in a few minutes for the doors and returned in a few weeks.-Bad smells under sink and near cotton around hot water heater: Technicianssolutionwas for me to place fabric softener sheets in those areas. After looking harder for the technician, I discovered for him that both pipes under sink were causing mildew smell due to small leaks; he repaired that much at the least.-Kitchen drawer knobs prevented movement of stove door: Technician sawed off half of knob and said hed return with a smaller knob&never did.-Large tree fell down in yard: Numerous excuses of the company having only ONE chain saw that was broken&.chain saw repaired, technician chopped up tree and left it there. At only my request, the technician returned to carry the 15-30 lb logs out.-Was told during my visit to Holly Heights that all the broken down cars were being towed with their supposedly strict cracking down on property maintenance: Old Mustang GT with two flat tires still in building 723 parking lot long before I moved in and is taking up needed space.-Was told during my visit to Holly Heights that it was a
