They discontinued roam towing, so you don't have to worry about your friends car getting towed. There's plenty of spots, including parallel parking in front of some of the buildings. The parking lots themselves could be a little better lit.Grounds - Absolutely beautiful! There's a very nice lake with mallard ducks who love bread. There are a lot of open, green areas rather than cement all over the place. They are currently taking down all the pine trees, but the manager himself assured me that they will be putting up more trees that better accent the property rather than take away from it. His words, not mine (I liked the old look!).Maintenance - Fairly quick to respond. I would say that the vast majority of my work orders were completed within 48 hours of my reporting them. My A/C went out once, and they had to order a new part or something for it, so it would take awhile to fix. But, they did put me up in their model instead so I didn't have to sleep in the heat.Office Staff - The leasing agents are all college students, and they are all pretty cool. There used to be a hot blonde in the office, but I haven't seen her in awhile. The managers themselves have always been professional and reasonable for me to deal with. They may not always completely satisfy me, but they have always been fair.Security Deposits - So far, I only know 2 people who have moved out of here. One left her apartment very neat, and she got her full deposit back. My other friend was something of a slob, and he got a bill instead. Judging from that, I will make sure that I clean my apartment well so I can get my deposit back.All in all, I would recommend this place. So far, there have been nothing but improvements since May (new Management took over in May), and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, quieter community that is still close to campus. | | | | |
