Apartment Review for Arbor Apartments - Gainesville, FL

My boyfriend and I moved into Arbor Apartments in July of 2007, and we love it here! They don't have breed restrictions (unlike just about everywhere else in Gainesville), most of the tenents are grad students or adults, and it's a really nice location. The apartment itself is small, but we have plenty of space (with 2 people, a shepard mix, and a couple of small pets). The courtyards are great, and you won't find anything like them elsewhere in Gainesville. The carpets were freshly shampooed when we moved in, and the apartment was clean (unlike previous apartments we have moved into). The staff knew who we were within the first few days of us living here, and unlike everywhere else, EVERYONE is super friendly and helpful. The maintenance workers are wonderful, always friendly, and make you feel like you're number one priority. The office staff is extremely pleasant to work with. The only problem we've had was with a new vanity which was installed prior to us moving in. An opening which hadn't be caulked let roaches in for a while (ew!), but everyone was super helpful in getting pest control out right away and filling the hole. Once we found the source of the problem it was easily (and quickly!) resolved. We really enjoy living here and plan to stay for the next several years.
