Apartment Review for Arbor Park - Gainesville, FL

Where to begin!? We moved to AP only because of the large one bedroom apartments. The apartment had a huge hole in the wall when we moved in, along with two cracked windows, extremely old appliances & kitchen cabinets that were literally falling apart! We repeatedly asked the management to fix things & wound up giving up & doing the work ourselves. Over our stay there we overheard drug deals go down just outside our window. We SAW prostitutes with their johns in our parking lot! We were constantly woke up by arguments & loud people at all hours of the night & day. I repeatedly got towaway warning stickers for parking in LEGAL spaces. large vanloads of people who did not live at the complex used the pool almost every single day. Whenever we would complain to the office about something it would be ignored & then they would tell us that WE NEVER TOLD THEM cus its not in their computers, though we did many times. People walk their dogs all over the place so once a week you step in dog crap. The hallways are in bad disrepair & always smell bad. The sinks clog all the time & back up to the point of overflowing. The sprinklers are rustfilled & paint all the trees & grass dies so they cover it with mulch. Then they tried to charge us to undo the repairs we made when we left! This experience made us by a house so we would never have to deal with apartments again!!!
