Apartment Review for Boardwalk Apts. - Gainesville, FL

I moved into Boardwalk after a friend promised me it would be cost efficent & cute on the inside! Riiiiight. Well....I am about 8 months into my lease and have encountered the following: Drug Dealers living across the parking lot from me, hobos asking me for money while walking to my car IN THE PARKING lot, Spiders infested in my car from the overgrown foilage outside, mold growing ALL over my apartment, and don't forget...one of the 200 feral cats all over Boardwalk snuck into my apt. Can I describe to you the wonderful feelings of waking up smelling cat urine, when you have no animals??? The office staff may be nice, but there is only so much you can do when you run buildings that should be condemned. There was a girl raped in the parking lot and ever since that, walking to my car in the dark is less than appealing. Who wants to live somewhere you cant even leave your apt when it's dark out? If you value your health and safety, don't move to boardwalk.
