Apartment Review for Boardwalk Apts. - Gainesville, FL

I dont even know where to begin with all the problems. When my roommate and I saw the model we fell in love w/ the place. After we got into our apartment it was totally different. The walls had scuff marks all over them. The shower leaks. Our first night in we used the oven, and in the middle of baking dinner we noticed it was completely filled with maggots. It took days for them to exchange the oven, then they placed it outside of our door and left it there for over a week. The showers leak, dips all over in the floor, the smell was horrible, and the carpets were stained. It was a complete nightmare. Then they change the code on the laundry room door. Yeah , dont worry about the people that live here and need to do their laundry in the middle of the night. Whoever is thinking about moving in here needs to reconsider it. Theres more to what the outside appearance is. Im sure it lures many in, just as it did to me.
