Apartment Review for Boardwalk Apts. - Gainesville, FL

I've lived at Boardwalk for several years and have been quite happy with it overall. The apartments are large and the price is very reasonable. I haven't found another apartment as large as mine for such a great price. Maintenance can range from very responsive to a little lax. Every time I complain to my friends about maintenance, the mgmt surprises me and something gets fixed just hours after I've called. The area of town isn't necessarily the best (yes, you will see your fair share of hookers on 13th St.), but I don't feel unsafe there. At my request, they installed another light in the parking lot to make my little corner of the lot even more well lit. I would recommend Boardwalk for the price, the size and the amenities, not a bad place at all. The noise level is very reasonable. In my four years here, I have only been disturbed five or 6 times by parties (but two were at my apt., so I can't complain)
