Apartment Review
Good place, old buildings
Review Date: 11/15/2007 Reviewer: Anonymous
Granada is a great apartment complex in a lot of ways: the pool is clean, there's a laundry building on site, the apartments themselves are large, they're built of concrete and there's plenty of shade keeping utility bills down. Recent Management has spent a lot of time and money improving the buildings, which it must be admitted are old and in dire need of some upgrades. Unfortunately, there are some drawbacks too: the laundry facility isn't maintained by the complex (the machines are through a different company) so they are frequently broken, the ceiling/floor conducts sound unfortunately very well though you can't hear your next door neighbor through the walls. Trash levels around the grounds seem to depend on how many students are in residence at the time. Elementary school zoned for Stephen Foster, and the bus stops right at the entrance sign. Walking distance to Publix, Burger King, Budda Belly, Domino's, Jeff's Deli. A good solid "C" on the grading scale - perfectly acceptable, but not exceptional. |
