Apartment Review
Not a suitable place for anyone.

Having lived here for over four years, I can safely say that this particular apartment complex is nothing short of unbearable. I have never invited my friends over to my apartment because there is always a chance that my neighbors will start screaming at each other outside, and the whole building will hear. Also, strange cars have been known to randomly show up out of nowhere, taking up precious parking spaces and leaving you to park all the way in the back--near the dumpster (at my biulding, at least). The walls are paper-thin, so you can always hear your neighbors flushing their toilets or taking a shower, or getting into an argument. Outdoor noises are also quite prevalent--there are always screaming individuals in the parking lot, and I constantly fear for the safety of my truck. Drug dealers are everywhere here, as well as lewd men leaning over the bannisters trying to hit on you, or simply watching you intently (watching the women, that is). There are, however, some extremely kind people throughout this apartment complext, but those individuals are few and far between. One such couple is moving out come February, but they are not in the same building as I am. Do NOT be fooled by false advertising. The website claims that there is a pool and a tennis court, but I have yet to see either of them. There is a chance that those two are located in the far back of the complex, but neither I nor anyone I know would dare venture into the depths of this complex in search of something so trivial as a pool. It is simply not worth the risk; and it is indeed a risk to explore the back of Holly Heights Apartments, for it merges with Cedar Ridge, a notorious complex known for its drugs and crime that is not even separated from Holly Heights in any way, shape, or form. As long as you can possibly avoid the apartment complex(including Cedar Ridge), avoid it! At all costs. No one else who has posted a review has presented any false information regarding Holly Heights. It is truly a slum; a ghetto. I am moving out in June of 2008, and I continue to count the minutes until that day arrives. |
