Apartment Review for Holly Heights - Gainesville, FL

I have lived in my fair share of "student ghettos" over the years. This is by far the worst of them all. This is not a student ghetto. This is a crime-infested hell hole. I never feel safe and I never get a full nights sleep. This complex is loud, dangerous, dirty and run-down. The managment is nice enough, but there isn't much that can be done to save the place at this point (short of burning it down and starting over). The police that patrol this neighborhood seem to be more interested in hanging out on the corner down the street than arresting the drug dealers (and worse). Better to invest in a nice tent and camp somewhere quiet...
