Apartment Review for Homestead Apartments - Gainesville, FL

This apartment complex is the worst I have ever seen. When I lived there the office and matinence staff had changed so much, that I never knew who I was talking to. On several occasions the outside stairwell lights would not come on at night. Leaving a young woman to walk in a dark stairwelll by the street all by herself. I had to use my cell phone to light my way! Whenever I would tell them something was broken or needed matinence I was given an attitude and told someone would be there in the next couple of days. Sometimes it took weeks!! The staff was horrible and rude. They didn't even tell us our lease was for 18 months until we sat down to sign it. When you move out they aren't done tring to ripp you off. The will charge you for the smallest thing!!! stay away if you work hard for your money and don't want to be ripped off!
