Apartment Review for Homestead Apartments - Gainesville, FL

I wish I could go back in time and tell myself to not move into this shit hole. Seriously, living here has put such a strain on my sanity and probably my immune system. We have the worst neighbors, the staff is nothing but a bunch of snobby b****es. Most of the residents are weirdos. The only good thing about this place is that they have a pretty nice and intelligent maintenance guy now. Our apartment was completely filthy when we moved in though. oh, not to mention all of the appliances are at least 20 years old. They're too cheap to replace/upgrade anything. Our damn GRU bill is at least $200 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment!!!!!!! It's because there is like zero insulation in this place and the windows are paper thin. Our a/c unit breaks about 1-2 times a year and we're stuck melting in an apt that's 100 degrees! But that's okay, don't bother replacing it you cheap bastards! ohhhh but the main office is gorgeous!!! Always nicely decorated and full of brand new furniture!! The point is that I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!! As a matter of fact, if i'm outside and a car pulls up to ask me what I think about this place because the driver is considering moving in...oh, believe you me I tell them the truth!! And they drive away and don't look back! :)
