OVER RATED

Safety--Not once did I ever feel unsafe on the property. There is a poliice officer that lives there and his car is usually park up front as you enter the complex and is sure to ward of any unwanted visitors. Parking--I paid for a garage which comes with a parking space so parking really was not an issue for me. Although, I did hear neighbors complain about the lack of parking and how jammed pack the spaces were. Apperance--upon first arrival, the place seems very nice. They show you a well kept furnished unit that is staged very well. My unit was just OK. It was certainly nothing to write home about. It's easy to get excited about the pool, workout room, hot tub and other immenities but once you have settled in you begin to notice that the place is infested with dog poo. It is everywhere and I do mean EVERYWHERE! It's in every grassy area on the property and even in the parking lot and on the sidewalk. MOST of the people there DO NOT clean up behind their pets so if you are one of those people then you will fit right in. On the other hand, if you don't have pets or understand the importance of cleaning behind your pet, this place will likely drive you bananas. I had to resort to allowing my dog to ONLY walk in the street until we were outside of the complex. office staff- The staff was always friendy and curtious. Maintenance-- I had only one issue with my dishwasher and it was fixed in a timely manner. Unit condition--For the money, the unit was not that great. When you first inquire about the propery they will show you a unit that is staged very well and well kept. The paint and carpet are very very cheap and therefore easily bruised. My suggestion would be to see the unit you will be living in before you sign the lease. Noise level--In my experience I had no real problem with noise. *** Security deposit return*** This is where I had the real problem with the management company. They are claiming to replace the carpet in the unit that it will be $1300. Keep in mind this is a 2/2 approx 1100 sq feet. Needless to say of my $1100 deposit I was still sent a bill for an additional $285 after I moved out. I left that place spotless! I did understand the carpet would have to be replaced but $1300--yeah right! Good luck to you! |
