Apartment Review for Huntington Lakes - Gainesville, FL

We've had problems with our upstairs neighbors since day 1! We called security on them and filed complaints in the office...even went as far as to call the police, but nothing was ever done about it. Then, 10 months into our lease, we noticed water damage coming into the kitchen, called the emergency maintenance line and they didn't show up until late that evening. Come to find out, we had major water damage from bad plumbing (surprise surprise) and they needed us to move ASAP. We had to stay a week into June before we could find somewhere to go (which was only 6 days after they told us they needed us gone) and they offered no help, and they charged us for the 7 days we were still in the apartment trying to pack and get out!!! They are just money hungry people who have no sympathy what-so-ever! I have a 6 month old baby and my husband and I both work...so we were busting butt to get out of here for them!!! I just think it was unfair and could have been handled a lot more professional!!!! On top of that, the parking sucks...you always have to park in a different parking lot away from your apartment...and like someone in a previous complaint stated...there are weirdos that walk around this place...you never feel 100% safe!!!
