Apartment Review for Ivy House Dormitory - Gainesville, FL

I have to tell you to stop and think about signing a lease with the Ivy House. The setup is pretty much like a dorm, but off campus. This is the worst dorm/apartment I have ever lived in. The walls are so thin that you can hear the people in the next room talking, and whatever they may be doing. The office staff are rude and mediocre at their jobs. Very MUCH so!! The bedrooms are very small. My car has been hit once in the parking lot because the spots are too small. Let alone the $50/month charge that they charge for parking in this god forsaken dorm/apt. They try to rip you off with any possible thing they can conceive of. For instance, $25 for garbage left in the bathroom. Oh wait, there's more!! There is a 11pm curfew imposed on guests, male, which worse than the on-campus dorms. Also, there is a 10 pm curfew on the FREAKIN' kitchen. Please, I repeat, do your parents and yourselves a favor, do not move here!
