Apartment Review for Laurels Apartments - Gainesville, FL

when i signed my orginal lease in Feb they said it was for 12 months. I moved in in june with a roommate. she moved out in december and i found a new roommate so we had to add him to the lease. THEY SWITCHED THE LEASE TO 14 MONTHS. with out telling us. so now i'm stuck here for longer than i'm supposed to be.

and i've made requests to have things fixed in the apartment and it wasn't until the ancient microwave that was falling apart CAUGHT ON FIRE did it get fixed.

and further more a friend of mine actually works for paradigm properties and she told me that basically if you don't have a maid service come in and steam and clean your entire apartment they try to charge you for the disposal of everything from a roll of toliet paper you left on the rack or the hangers you forgot to pack in your closet.
