Apartment Review for Melrose Apartments - Gainesville, FL

This is place is NOT patrolled by any kind of security EVER. We do have a gate guard though that will always help your friends make it who are coming over to visit. There is horrible lighting outside at night (one of my main complaints). I've never been robbed here. At night, its sometimes hard to find parking RIGHT IN FRONT of you apt, but you will find it 2 steps away. The management are very helpful when it comes to maint. but they suck at everything else. The maint. guy will come and NOT fix EVERYTHING that NEEDS to be fixed. The walls are freshly painted, but the carpet is disgusting and dirty.
