Apartment Review for Melrose Apartments - Gainesville, FL

Melrose is a big mistake. Constant battle with leasing office as they are perpetually attempting to change the terms of the lease without following the procedure detailed in the lease. Screw up billing about once every three months. Repair guys come in whenever they want without notification, and then if you are lucky don't flood your room by ripping a pipe to the toilet out of the bathroom wall. Furniture is cheap. Walls needed painting from the moment I walked in. Internet is down once a week. Do NOT move here. I've lived here for two years, and last year it was great, only minor complaints. However, the management changed over the summer, and everything has gone bad.
