Apartment Review for Melrose Apartments - Gainesville, FL

In my first year at Melrose was fine with no major problems at all, then they changed to the District on 62nd. The quality went down a lot and they no longer cared about tenants. I tried to get a roommate removed for his drug habit and smoking weed in the apartment they claimed they were gonna get him out he is still there. Even after they caught him and his friends smoking weed in another apartment. Then I got robbed and til this day still haven't received an apology. Security is a joke. The overages are a joke. We didn't even run our AC for 3 months and still had high overages. My advice is to run away from this place they make it seem like a nice safe property but it really isn't. BTW 5 cars got broken into in front of my apartment and a pizza guy got hit in the back of the head by a 2by4.
