Apartment Review for Park 16Th Apartments - Gainesville, FL

I have lived in Park 16th for a year now. These are not new luxurious apartments, but they are nice, spacious, with lots of storage space, close to campus and cheap. The new management is making lots of changes to the property for the better. They recently put new gym equipment, the landscaping is improving, and they just sent a notice that both pools will be close for a full renovation (they will do one at a time, so you can still go for a swim). I have not had any big bug problem, but this is Florida and insects can be found everywhere. About a month ago I found a bug on my kitchen and went to the front office to report it. The next day Florida Pest Control was at my house taking care of the problem and no bugs since then. I have also seen a lot of carpets and appliances being replaced in other apartments. I will definitely recommend this apartment to anybody wanting a nice comfortable place to live close to campus, with all the new improvements, you are getting a great apartment at a bargain price.
