Apartment Review for Point West Apartments - Gainesville, FL

Let me tell you a little bit about this place. First off, it is crime ridden. If you have a motorcycle or scooter, expect them to be stolen and/or vandalized. I had my motorcycle stolen as well as a neighbors (both were later recovered), had the cover stolen, and eventually someone vandalized it by stealing the entire headlight assembly. A few of my neighbors also had their cars broken into and stuff stolen out of them. This place has NO SECURITY and the management does not care. I moved out of that place because I was concerned about the safety of my belongings, and the management has sued me, claiming I owe them $3400. I gave them over a month to find new people to move in, but they never once even brought anyone over.   Also, if you don t like roaches, you will want to avoid this place. There are lots and lots of roaches here. For the exact same price, you can easily find an apartment complex just as close to the University that actually has some security and isn t filled with roaches.
