Apartment Review for Point West - Gainesville, FL

Problem started day 1... we put down the deposit months in advance...we got a call the day before we were scheduled to move in making sure we were coming that day...we get here, in the middle of the afternoon and the apt was not ready. They were putting down new tiles in kitchen and hanging up blinds. NO phone call or anything. They did not apologize, but Spice(manager) thought we should just come back the next day. Except that I was there with a moving truck. So, they didn't charge us for that day.(What a consolation!) and we came back hours later. Then, on the 2nd day, the AC broke. They would do a quick fix and still have not fixed it(2 months later), so we have to flick a circuit 2x a week, and our electric bill was $110 for a 1 bedroom apt. And don't even bother calling the manager, because she has a BAD attitude. We've had a leaky faucet, our toilet was leaking to the apt below, and AC still not fixed. Several low lying apts flooded during the hurricane, including the laundry room. Oh, but the apt is roomy.
