Apartment Review for Reflections Apartments - Gainesville, FL

When I moved to this apartment, there were several things that needed to be fixed and were overlooked prior to having the apartment ready for me to move in. It took them almost a month to finally come and fix a leak under the sink. There were several things missing in the apartment and the carpet was not cleaned prior to my move. On my third month living there, I did not realize that we only have until the 3rd to pay for rent as all other places I have lived in gave until the 5th to pay. I went into the office on the 4th, at 12pm and they said that the rent was late and that if the check was in the office first thing in the morning (9am - 3 hours earlier), it would not have been late. I asked them to understand my honest mistake but they made me pay $75 late fee and had to get it all in a money order. They ask me to understand every time it takes three weeks for them to fix something in my apartment but they cannot understand when someone is late for three hours because did not realize a unusual deadline. Outside lights in the building are noisy and can be heard inside the apartment. The same with the a/c vent inside the unit, it makes noises when the neighbor's a/c is on. The stove does not work properly, it is very unstable with the settings but they would not replace it. The breakers jump once in a while from the a/c. The dumpster is always full and on weekends there are usually trash all around it. They should have another dumpster set up. I am currently looking for another apartment.
