Apartment Review for Santa Fe Pointe Apartments - Gainesville, FL

If Scarface and the Dumb and Dumber guys were partners in owning apartments, then Sante Fe Pointe would describe it perfectly. My toliets and appliances stayed broken, and the "handy" man was no where to be found unless he was swimming in the pool or working on his golfcart! Smelly and unsanitary carpets carry fungi, amoebas, bacilli, paramecium, and all types of other disgusting organisms. If that wasn't enough, then you will be pleased to know that your neighbors are all drug dealers and roam the streets making transactions 24 hours per day. Also, there was a STABBING INCIDENT when I lived there where a woman's car was being broken into while she was in it, and when someone intervened (because there's no security at Santa Fe Pointe), then the man was stabbed. The "Management" is literally unreal something that belongs in a comedy central skit. A group of glorified burger flippers manage to blunder their way through their day and destroy an apartment complex by just letting it run into the ground...while charge an arm and a leg for weekly updated infractions. They "punished" us by taking down the basketball nets, because a select few weren't behaving on the courts. So, instead of seeking out the wrongdoers, they took down the nets, because there's NO SECURITY to do so. Also, you will not get your mail on Saturday, because they refuse to hire someone from the office to put out the mail. I ordered a laptop from Dell and it had to sit in a locked closet and they wouldn't open the door for me, because of this simple "No Mail on Saturday" rule. They lied and said my computer never was delivered, but luckily I had the tracking number and the ACTUAL NAME of the person who signed for it--the same person who told me my computer wasn't there. So, nonetheless my computer sat in the same OUTDOOR mail closet that was notorious for getting broken into. I was charged $900 for new paint and carpet which is normal wear and tear from an apartment. Never have I been charged for paint and carpet for 2 reasons....(1) I am a very neat and orderly person (2) Every single apartment in the world expenses the paint and carpet as normal wear and tear and DOESN'T CHARGE THE GUESTS. I WAS 30 MINUTES LATE RETURNING MY KEYS AND THEY CHARGED MY $100!!!!! This place is a serious joke, and if you want to actually be around kids who are in school and focused, then go to a different complex. Please don't risk injury and death with the criminals in here....it's very dangerous and I'm not just a sour guest speaking in superlatives.....DON'T GO HERE!!!! THE MONEY YOU SAVE IS NOT WORTH IT TRUST ME!!!!! SURROUND YOURSELF WITH ACTUAL COLLEGE STUDENTS AND NOT A BUNCH OF CRIMINALS WHO AREN'T EVEN IN SCHOOL!!!! 75% OF THIS COMPLEX DOES NOT EVEN ATTEND SCHOOL!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
