Apartment Review for The Polos - Gainesville, FL

This is with out a doubt the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. The apartment was filthy when we moved in so we complained and they did nothing about it. I guess the $400 redecoration fee was really just a "bend over and take it fee." Our GRU bill has been twice as high as a normal apartment($430 last month). Maintenance keeps telling us that there is nothing wrong and that we just waste a lot of electricity. The building is old and falling apart. The management is horrible. They keep telling you that they will fix the problem, but they never actually do anything, and they never follow up. The complex isn't save. Many cars have been broken into in the parking lot. The parking lot is extremely dark at night. I do not feel safe walking around at night. They tow every night of the week, 24 hours a day. I will NEVER live in another paradigm property again.
