Apartment Review for The Polos - Gainesville, FL

Don't believe them when they say you're getting the lowest rate, because they are lying! I renewed my lease, paying over $800 for a 1/1; new people are only paying $700! Don't believe them when they say it is easy to sublease; they've got plenty of empty apartments they are trying to fill. Also, the apartment is old and they don't fix the damage from the previous tenant. I have cracked doors and broken tiles, and the first thing I had to do when I moved in was clean it from top to bottom. As for parking, no one is EVER towed, and visitors take up all the spots! If there is a broken-down vehicle taking up a precious spot, you have to hound them to death before they will tow it, IF they will tow it. Forget finding a parking space, even though you paid for it. Oh, and don't plan on moving in anytime soon--they are doing construction (very noisy!) on the outside of all the buildings. If only they would fix the insides!
