Great, no-frills apartment!
Review Date: 2/28/2010 Reviewer: Anonymous
I've been living in these apartments for 2 years while in grad school and am moving to another state. I wanted to write an honest review to help out others looking for apartments. I'll give the pros first and then the cons: I first got my apartment through a sublease and was initially impressed with how professional and courteous the staff are. That is still true today- they are on a first name basis with you and have excellent customer service skills. Same can be said for the maintenance. In my 2 years, I've only made a few minor maintenance calls, and my requests are consistently addressed in a timely manner. The apartment itself is pretty basic but has everything you'd really need. I love that I have a dishwasher, washer & dryer, and balcony. The complex is quiet and seems to be home mostly to professional/grad students and small families. It is very pet-friendly, and the residents tend to do a good job of cleaning up after pets. I have never had any concerns about safety or anything like that. The complex is in a wooded area, and I love the green space surrounding my apartment. The complex is located close to Shands and UF as well as downtown restaurants and bars and sits right on a bus route. There is a decent gym here and two pools, which I've enjoyed. As with anywhere, there are downsides to living here. Its an older complex and so the floors are squeaky and the appliances are older. The pools are pretty basic and because of the trees, they often have leaves in them. |
