Tough to call

I find that my review is very similar to others written on this site. The apartments are pretty spacious and reasonable for the money. That being said, the loft style was not always good for me; I worked nights, and my roommate did not, so I would often want to watch TV when he was sleeping and vise versa. The apts. are older though, and could use some remodeling. Having the laundry hookups in the outside closet was somewhat inconvenient, but it is better than having to go to a laundromat. Large dogs are also allowed, which is an increasingly rare allowance. Grounds were pretty well kept up. Not a thing of beauty, but by no means bad. The gate in the front worked for 95% of the year I was there. Maintenance staff was friendly and prompt, although I didn't need much from them. The people in the front office were usually quite friendly and helpful, although they seemed to change alot. I didn't find traffic to be too bad most of the time, although, as I said, I worked nights and was able to avoid peak rush hour most of the time. The grounds were pretty quiet, with a few occasional exceptions. The biggest drawback to this place (and its a big one) is the surrounding areas. You guessed it, ghetto fabulous. There were a few breakins to cars and such, although they were pretty well isolated. While I never had a problem, others did. Bottom line is its a pretty good place. I wouldn't really hold back from recommending it to guys (not to sound sexist) or even girls living together. But I WOULD NOT tell any of my girl friends to live there, especially if they didn't have a roommate. |
